“Within their 15-minute video landing page review, George and Kate highlighted the good, the bad, and the ugly! Their insightful approach showed me several areas I could improve while explaining the reasons why.I'd highly recommend working with them to improve the pages that drive revenue on your website.”

“The best thing about the NLO team is you identify and contribute where it matters, vs. selling from a list of predefined services.”
Dan M. Sr. Director, Marketing
“The NLO team come with their ideas, but are also able to hear ours and receive feedback. It is so refreshing to work with someone who is able to pivot and adjust. And the proof is in the data: we can see the performance impacts from our work together and are able to tell that story to the team.”
Jay B. Manager, Marketing Campaigns
“Kate & George are awesome to work with. They brought strong partnership, innovative perspectives, pushed the envelope, and took a new approach to how we would build a landing page. And it was no easy task; they were very engaged and worked with all the unpredictable circumstances.”

FAQs

What is the difference between Free and Priority landing page reviews?

Free reviews can be a great risk-free way to get external professional opinion. The downside is that it might take long. We try to do 2-5 free reviews per week depending on our workload. We draw a random page if we get more submissions for the week.

Free reviews include:
  1. As a recording: We look at the page, verbalise our impressions, look for issues, and provide recommendations. We try to do a summary at the end.
  2. As a live session: Same as with the recording but first we ask you about the intent behind the page and other background info. You can influence the focus and the outcome of the review.

Priority reviews are a great way to get maximimum value as fast as possible. We get to work on the next day (hence then name - priority) and we work twice as much.

Priority reviews include:
  1. As a recording: We make 2 recordings: one with our initial impressions and second with summary of issues and recommendations. You get an extra live session.
  2. As a live session: With live session we make the first initial impressions recording and discuss issues and recommendations during the live session. You get an extra live session.

How to choose the review delivery format (recording or live session)?

After page submission for a free review you will get 2 emails:

- first to confirm your email address

- and second with a delivery date and an option to choose the delivery format.

If you book a paid review (Priority) you will receive directly the second email.

Will you spam my email?

Definitely not. Will you ever work with us if we do?

We only send emails within the scope of the review.

What is a landing page?

A landing page is the first page that users interact with on a website, such as:

  1. a home page,
  2. a product page,
  3. or a dedicated campaign page.

The goal of the landing page is to lead the visitors towards a desired outcome usually called a conversion event, e.g.:

  1. form fill,
  2. sign up,
  3. transaction, etc.

What is conversion rate?

Let’s say you bring 1,000 visitors from a search marketing (e.g. Google Ads) campaign to a landing page with a lead gen form.

20 visitors fill in the form.

In this case your conversion rate would be:

(Form fills / Visitors ) * 100 = > (20/1000)*100 = 2%.

How do we optimize landing pages for conversion?

We typically start with getting some background info:

  1. Why was the page created?
  2. Is it a part of a campaign or a website structure?
  3. What are the traffic sources, etc.?

We also check the current conversion rate and any other performance data that might exist.

Then we review the page and identify issues that we can see from the perspective of our experience and proprietary theoretical model. As a result we come up with a list of:

  1. Recommended content,
  2. Structure and/or design changes,
  3. Check the feasibility and estimate the effort of implementing the changes.

Finally, we feed the costs in a ROI projection and we have ourselves a conversion optimization project.

How do you price your services?

We are very flexible with our pricing models and can accomodate wide range of preferences.

We have worked with large, budget driven organizations and early stage startups. Time&material or value based, whatever model feels comfortable and fair, we go for it.

What we do

Landing page review

You submit your page, we send you a video recording of our review including recommendations.
It’s the perfect way for you to get value fast and with minimum risk.
We believe that the most effective way to convince someone that you can help them is to already help them.

By default reviews are delivered as a recording. You can choose an online work session as an alternative in an email you'll reveive after page submission.

Book a review

Work session

These are usually an hour long. We start investing time and mental effort to understand your business and circumstances. We meet (virtually) to learn about your goals, circumstances and challenges. We identify what can be improved and how it can be improved within the particular constrains. Result is a feasible action plan.

Page optimization project

This is based on our initial assessment and ROI projection. Optimization projects may take anywhere around 1-3 months depending on environmental complexity, our load, and whether the page is a home page, product/service page, or a campaign landing page. The price can be time&material based or value based, depending on what feels comfortable and justifiable.

Site optimization project

This may take aproximately 4-12 months depending on site complexity, content volume, and whether we use your design system or we have to redesign. Both page and site oprimization projects may include web development.

Ongoing optimization

This maybe in the form of a retainer or just several consecutive projects. We become long-term responsible for the conversion rate of your landing pages. Acting an extension of your marketing team, complimenting and cooperating. Scope varies and includes but is not limited to: finding or generating content, creating and tweaking landing pages, designing and conducting A/B tests, creating and monitoring performance metrics, etc.
